The former Secretary to Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal has been arrested by the Economic Financial Crime Commission.
The former Secretary, Mr. Babachir Lawal was arrested by EFCC on Wednesday, 24th of January 2018.
Mr. Lawal who was recently sacked from duty having the cause that he allegedly misuse the government funds allocated for the fair-treatment of those who suffered from the Boko-Haram insurgence.
The arrest made by EFCC after vigorous findings came simultaneously a day after former President Olusegun Obasanjo accused His Excellency, General Mohammadu Buhari of encouraging corruption where persons close to him are involved.
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo said regretfully that the president, Buhari had failed woefully, and urged him not to seek re-election in the coming 2019 annual elections.
